Meet Syntegro
Syntegro was founded in 2007 by four engineers with an entrepreneurial dream. Together, with about 80 years of experience, they developed a flexible SaaS solution for workforce management. Today, Syntegro serves approximately 700 clients with 20 to 40,000 employees who use the technology every day. These are mainly large companies – 80% have at least 250 employees.
Syntegro recognised the need to move beyond the limitations of their previous application. This app, constrained by aging technology, was not able to meet the dynamic needs of modern workforce management. Employees and managers alike needed a more versatile, interactive tool. One that could handle complex tasks with ease and adapt to the evolving workplace demands.
An intuitive interface for employees
The effort of rebuilding the mobile experience started by analysing the legacy application and how the choices made in that app affected the user experience. We quickly discovered that the app had a diverse user base, not only differing in how users used the application but also in which modules they actually used. The new app needed to be as flexible as possible in order to tailor the experience to individual end-user needs. This meant we had to cover every single use case in a total of 5 major iterations with testing rounds during the design phase. The result of this collaboration is a well-rounded and thoroughly tested UX, bringing the application to a new level.

Short feedback-loops
Syntegro's API-driven backbone ensures seamless integration of backend logic with the mobile experience, enhancing usability. Our regular stand-up calls and short feedback loops ensured an agile development process. The involvement of Syntegro's product owner and own development team facilitated rapid adaptations and refinements to their back-end, aligning the app closely with user needs.
